Engraving, unique to you
“Can this be engraved” is one of the most common questions we field, and the answer is always unique as the person asking it. We can’t promise a yes, but we will give you an honest answer that errs on the side of caution; whether you’re looking to have the fenders from your restored custom car engraved, a family heirloom touched up, or your own mark added to a unique piece of art, we offer in-person and online consultations.
With any unique, custom piece, liability for damage remains with you. We’ll offer our insight and do our best work, but engraving non-standard items can and will yield unpredictable results. Caveat Emptor.

We started Cambridge Engravers as a family over 35 years ago, and it’s how we continue to operate today. In Cambridge Graham and Fran head up operations, with Paul delivering beautiful work for many of our clients. On the West coast Graye handles local business, online support, and client services for online sales. This small team has an impeccable reputation, as online reviews and ratings confirm.

Yes, we do engraving. Believe it or not this is one of the most commonly asked questions when people call!

We don’t charge per letter. Per letter charges are an antiquated way of billing, dating back to the use of manual machines like the one pictured at the top of the page. Instead we charge per job, a pricing method that is much more fair to you, the customer.

Here’s where you can help us help you. Use the form below and fill out all of the fields, including the material type, the content you want engraved, the size of item, the size of the engraved content, and when you need it.
By giving us the information we need we can provide a rough price range. Estimates are exactly that: estimates. Challenges with the material or changes after the quote has been given may change your final price.

Most likely no. Engraving is both a craft and an art, and rushing the permanent modification of something important to you isn’t something we take lightly. If you’re in an extreme rush and absolutely must have it today we may be able to accommodate you with a rush fee. The rush fee is priced to discourage its use. We’re looking out for you by doing so.

Yes. Our Cambridge location is open from 7am - 4pm EST daily. Shipping is available and a price to ship can be added to your invoice if it is not already included in the service.

Payment can be made via cash, major credit card, and e-transfer. An electronic invoice can be sent, letting you pay online.
